We, the People

  • Sujit Sanyal

    VETERAN & MENTOR

45+ years in the business, this man has done it all, seen it all - all in all. Sujit Sanyal has literally climbed the rungs of advertising, starting off as a trainee in one of Kolkata's most prestigious agencies, till he eventually went on to head Clarion - taking his time there a proper full circle. That, and so much more. He had worked in several leading agencies all over the country, worked on prestigious accounts and far-reaching campaigns, working with the who's whos of the media world. A veteran of the game, Sujit Sanyal is our mentor and guide, the rock that leads us through life and work and tells us how to play the game that he himself is a master of.

Some say, he's like a father-figure to me. It's true. He is.

  • Chandamita Barman

    CLIENT RELATIONS

Over the last 15 years, Chandamita has worked her way through the leading advertising agencies in Delhi, as she worked on some of the most prestigious accounts in the ad world, leading teams through back-breaking deadlines and delivering perfection each and every time. Chanda, as she is better known, is a maverick at getting things done, someone who will chase you into another lifetime so that the client ends up happy and satisfied with the work entrusted to the team. Her tenacity, her melodious voice and her impeccable eye-for-detail makes Chanda an invaluable asset in any team that she's in.

Chanda lives in Guwahati in a work-from-home environment and is a master of getting things done via a stable internet connection. While others have singing, dancing, painting, etc as their hobbies, Chanda has only one hobby that she actively pursues - chasing people to deliver their work on time.

  • Yashaswi Bhatt

    CLIENT RELATIONS

Yashaswi, or Yash to friends and not-friends, is a 20-year old veteran in the business of advertising. Yash has worked in so many of Delhi's leading agencies that he makes the best storyteller to colleagues, particularly when he tells us about the various celebrities that he has worked with over his tenure in advertising. And also of the number of times that he's had to live days and nights out of office working on monumental campaigns and brand stories - having worked on some of the most prestigious brands that are all household names today.

Yash can tell these tales because he has lived through them, because these are all a part of him, of his time in advertising - because he is a veteran of the industry. We are indeed fortunate to have him with us - the Dhoni to our CSK. And speaking of whom, Dhoni remembers Yash's face across the various times that he worked with him on product shoots. How many of us can say that, really?

  • Hardeep Singh

    STUDIO HEAD

Hardeep Singh runs the studio. This makes Hardeep Singh the literal backbone of the team. Without Hardeep Singh, there would be no team.

Without Hardeep Singh there would be no Subhojit Sanyal.

Hardeep - or HS, as he is fondly called, is the master technician, the veritable fountain of knowledge when it comes to making perfect artworks and deliverables, the one man who stands between raw creativity and realistic production. While we might draw the wings, HS makes sure we can actually fly towards the sun. And not fall. A man with a gazillion years of experience in his craft, HS is the buttress of this small and efficient team.

And most importantly, HS is the man who taught me the fundamentals of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign - he is my guru, my teacher, a man with abundant reserves of patience and discipline. And that is what makes him so good at what he does.

HS likes Rabindra Sangeet and devours fish heads better than most Bongs.

  • Mars

    STRESS RELIEF

Every now and then, with imploding deadlines and bottle-necked creativity, when time and tide wait for no one and when the going gets tough, when we could all do with a bit of stress management - that is when Mars enters the fray.

A wet nose, a thick tail, and a dexterous tongue - and we're back to the highway of creativity and timelines. Mars is essential to work getting done, and getting done right.

Also, he does this job to support himself against all the furniture that he destroys and the chimken than he consumes. There are no free lunches in this world.
